Sunday Worship Services begin at 11am & 6pm

Sunday School starts at 9:45am

Wednesday Bible Study starts at 6:30pm



On the first Wednesday of each month we have a fellowship meal before the service. On these days we gather at 5:45pm for the meal. Bible Study follows at 6:30.

Child care is provided during both Sunday services.

Pastoral Ministry

What a privilege to serve the Lord Jesus as the pastor of the Highway Baptist Church Family! We are excited to be able to share in your 'life journey' as we begin a new relationship that God has provided in His Son!

Life is a 'precious gift' as we enjoy the 'time of our lives' here on earth. As a church family, we invite you to share with us in this 'journey of faith' together with our Lord. We extend our hearts to those who are searching for Christ and need a church family!

Since we belong to Him and accept His 'ownership' in our lives, we seek to grow spiritually and in number, as a 'body of believers'. We invite you to share in 'His Mission' of reaching our community and around the world for Christ. His work challenges us to be diligent in our task, faithful in our prayers, and tenacious in loving all people!

I invite you and your family to join us for Sunday School at 9:45 am, Morning Worship at 11:00, and Evening Worship at 6:00 pm.

You are also invited to join us for Bible Study & Prayer Service each Wednesday at 6:30 pm.

Music Ministry

Ed Skains is our Minister of Music and his wife Linda serves as the church organist.

Highway Baptist Church is a singing church. Music is an important part of our church's life and witness. From traditional hyms and gospel songs to praise choruses, music is used to reach the hearts of people as they lift their voices in worship.

The Music Ministry is designed to offer music training and singing opportunities for the entire family. The church choir and hand bell choir meet on Sunday afternoons. Children's and youth choirs meet at various times throughout the year as enrollment permits. Special music programs are conducted throughout the year, and especially during special holiday seasons such as Christmas and Easter.

We invite you to join us in the minstry of music at Highway Baptist and use your gift of music to help us glorify God.

Education Ministry

Christians are called to be lifeling disciples and learners. The Bible gives us the mandate to make disciples and teach them to observe everything Christ taught (Matthew 28: 19-20).

Highway seeks to provide Sunday School classes and Bible study for everyone from birth through senior adults. In addition to Bible knowledge another primary benefit of our friendships and fellowship derived from being a part of a group with common needs and interests.

You do not have to be a member of Highway Baptist Church to participate in our Bible study classes; Join us and become part of a structured plan to study God's word!

Children's Ministry

We believe that children are God's gift to us and we love and value each child as a unique being at Highway.

There are two goals for all our children's ministries:

We have Sunday School classes for ages nursery through 6th grade in the children's department. We also have a special children's worship center for ages 4 through 4th grade each Sunday morning.

Youth Ministry

Youth group for young people in 7th through 12th grades meets each week. They have a great time of fellowship while also learning about how to grow in their faith and be witnesses for God.

There is at lease one planned activity each month for all youth. They also attend Chistian concerts and special youth services at other churches. We welcome the opportunity to minister to any teen who is interested in being a part of our youth family at Highway!

Senior Adult Ministry

You will find an active group of Senior Adults in our church with a full program of activities. We have game nights, take trips, and enjoy a luncheon the third thursday of every month, with a delightful meal and an interesting program put together by the Senior Adults. We also have a special ministry for seniors who have become unable to attend services on a regular basis through our shut-in's ministry.

We have also recently begun a ladies stitching group, and we have senior adult Sunday School classes and Bible studies. We invite any Senior Adult to come and be a part of our group and it's activities.
